Three and a half mind numb­ing, tor­tur­ous days of train­ing are over. I am now a cer­ti­fied cpr, aed & first aid instruc­tor. It amazes me how one day of mate­r­ial can be dragged out. I think text book pub­lish­ers are in the busi­ness of tak­ing sim­ple sub­jects and adding fat, fluff and bloat until one book of sim­ple instruc­tion that could be cov­ered thor­oughly in a day becomes two books, two work­books and three pam­phlets requir­ing an addi­tional two and a half days to cover.
